Ron Camacho’s writing career began as an art student at Buffalo State University where he assisted in the creation of a campus Fanzine, The Shakin’ Street Gazette. After a chance meeting with the Chicken Soup series creator, Mark Victor Hansen, Camacho co-authored the first book, Chicken Soup for the Country Soul. It became a New York Times and USA Today bestseller, shipping 500,000 units. Since the early 90's, Camacho has been a culinary chef and caterer. He was the food behind events for Find The Children, Feed The Children, KISS, Unite for Pediatric AIDS, The TJ Martell Foundation, Magic Johnson Foundation, and MADD.
Ron went home to be with Jesus in June 2022. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, and leader to his community. Ron will be deeply missed by everyone he met. |
ELLEN CAMACHOFounderEllen Camacho received her degree in Fashion Design and Dress Making in 1994 and embarked on a career in fashion design, catering expertise, and table scaping - the art of making food beautiful. Ellen’s career has been spent developing an eye for the extraordinary and producing one-of-a-kind experiences. As a swimwear designer right out of Orange Coast College, she was thrust into the national limelight when her designs were chosen for Inside Sports Swimwear edition alongside icon designers Donna Karan and Michael Kors.
Her eye for detail, impeccable hospitality, and table scaping makes art out of the ordinary. Ellen has trained over 500 people in the catering arena and has worked with many politicians, and the top Country Artists including Big Machine Label Group. |
BRYAN WILLIAMSBryan Williams is a restaurant executive who has proven experience in both turnaround and high-growth restaurant companies. Within the hospitality industry, Bryan is focused on team building and personal development within a team to drive a unified mission and purpose.
His broad restaurant and entertainment background combined with his demonstrated leadership qualities make Williams an ideal fit for Care Kitchen Outreach. He has demonstrated and managed the development of numerous new restaurant openings, programs, and processes that deliver strong, sustainable results. Outside of the restaurant industry, he also owns an independent record label, entertainment production company, and provides extensive volunteer work with Second Harvest Food Bank. Bryan excels in the development of restaurant operations and methodology, people development, and enterprise-wide training. He has held numerous leadership positions with public and private companies such as Applebee’s, Darden, O’Charley’s and is currently the Director of Learning & Development for Logan’s Roadhouse. Bryan currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his girlfriend, Bonnie, and mini dachshund, Jack. |
MARSHA SPARKMONMarsha Sparkmon is a human resources manager with expertise in hospitality and manufacturing industries. Prior to her work with human resources, she worked for several non-profit organizations as district and reginal executive. This combination of work experiences has given her insight on the best ways for business and non-profits to work together to improve community.
Throughout her career, Marsha has assisted team members in developing their skill sets. She found that creating opportunities to work with non-profit organizations has been the best training ground for future company leaders. Several organizations she has worked with include: United Way, Donors Choose, Franklin Lions Club, Modest Needs, Graceworks fuel bag program, Williamson County Animal Shelter, and the Red Cross. |
