Giving thanks has become a large part of the Care Kitchen Outreach life. CKO is not just a Non-Profit business model attempting a posture of efficiency, but rather a few people privileged to serve and give honor to those in need and by doing so Praise the Lord that set us in motion.  The CKO motto is “Sharing Gods Love by Showing God’s Love to the least, the last, and the lost in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.” Love is an action.

In 2.5 years, completing just 252 rescues, the Care Kitchen Outreach redistributedover 27 Tons of viable gourmet food or 108,000 8 ounce meals and farm fresh produce.

We want to thank our Food Donors Chef’s Market, Lipscomb University, Logan’s Roadhouse, M&M Events, Susan’s Catering, Chef Penelope’s Catering, Panera Bread, PF Chang’s, St. Paul's Academy and the Brentwood Baptist Church.

CKO’s serves a variety of ministries and local needs such as The Branch Ministry feeding 95 families weekly, StoneBrook Ministry an International Outreach, Comfort Ministries feeding the homeless, the Safe Room Ministry caring for children separated by the court from their parents, Project Connect Nashville giving life lessons and job skills, Welcome Home Ministries and Set Free Church, Substance abuse programs

The time has come for us to create an unfettered access to service - volunteer service, that will allow routine food rescues and donation from 100’s of caterers, hotels, restaurants delivered to 100’s of community services and church ministries. Join us as we fight to end hunger one zip code at a time.

It is always a good time to pray, and it is often necessary to meet, but it is even more important to move. Nashville does not have a food shortage – rather it has a food rescue and redistribution challenge.

We have much to be thankful for but most importantly we are thankful to YOU our faithful donors, volunteers and prayer warriors.

Our prayer is this: Father GOD their is a child in their mother's arms and they are crying and they will keep crying because their hungry help us fInd them, their is an elderly person that  time has forgotten, abandoned by their family and community, help us to feed them, and their is a homeless veteran lost and confused help us to share our table and bring them home becasue all things are possible through you we offer ALL Praise to you - Amen
